Mini-bricks (in this case - 75% of Lego size) was something completely new to me, so I was really curious what they can offer. LOZ Tree House was just stunning - a mash-up of 2 different and unrelated Lego sets created something completely new and unique, in my opinion. The set was challenging indeed. I cannot say how many hours it took me to build it together with my wife, but we were building it through 4-5 days. It was really fun process, not tedious at all as the parts are so different - the ground, the tree, the tree house and the big modular house. The final result is just gorgeous IMO, so detailed and cozy-looking! The tree has 2 sets of leaves for spring/summer and for autumn, the tree house has removable roof to look inside and the big house has both its roof and the second floor removable. It is possible to look inside of the second floor without removing the roof though.
And lastly - LOZ mini-minifigs. LOZ "children" are almost like Lego "children", just smaller. "Adults", however, differs - they have moveable knees and torsos. You have to assemble them yourself, including legs.
I also have to mention LOZ has basically Lego quality plastic, studs are branded. Maybe minifigs plastic is a bit different (lower quality). However, some pieces are so tiny they can be broken much more easily, so you have to keep that in mind. Because of the size and higher difficulty to assemble, I have a feeling LOZ is adults-only brand, children can be easily frustrated with it.
